1. About this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how POSetu collects, uses, stores and protects information when you visit the POSetu website or use the POSetu platform. POSetu is a software platform for companies and their dedicated vendors to manage purchase orders, invoices, payments and related business workflows.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use POSetu, we may receive:
- Name, email address and mobile number.
- Login, account and role information.
- Company and vendor account information.
- Subscription and billing-related information.
- Information submitted through registration, contact and support forms.
- Technical, security and usage information needed to operate and protect the service.
3. Business information entered by customers
Companies and vendors may enter business information into POSetu, including purchase orders, invoice information, item descriptions, quantities, prices, GST/business details and related documents.
Such information is provided and managed by the respective customer or vendor. POSetu does not independently verify the accuracy, authenticity, ownership or legality of customer-provided business information. Customers and vendors are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights and permissions to enter or upload such information and for complying with their own legal, contractual, accounting and tax obligations.
4. Sensitive personal and financial information
POSetu is designed as a business information and workflow platform. POSetu does not require or intend to collect or store Aadhaar card details, bank account numbers, dates of birth, individual PAN numbers or similar sensitive personal identification or banking information for normal use of the platform.
Users should not upload or enter such information into POSetu unless a particular feature expressly requires it and POSetu has provided an appropriate mechanism for doing so.
5. No financial transactions between companies and vendors
POSetu does not operate or process financial transactions between companies and vendors. The platform may record invoice payment status, payment dates or payment references as business information, but it does not execute or transfer those payments.
POSetu does not act as a bank, payment gateway, payment processor, escrow service or financial intermediary for transactions between companies and vendors. Such payments are made outside the POSetu platform.
6. Informational and business-support purpose
POSetu provides tools to help companies and vendors organize, record, manage and view business information for day-to-day business operations. Information on the platform is intended to support business operations and record-keeping.
POSetu does not represent that information maintained or displayed on the platform constitutes a statutory, legally certified, accounting, tax, financial or audit record unless expressly stated otherwise.
7. Audit trail and activity history
POSetu is not designed or represented as a complete audit-trail or statutory record-management system. The platform does not necessarily provide users with a complete historical record identifying who created, modified, restored, deleted or permanently deleted every purchase order, invoice or other business record, or a complete history of every change made to such information.
Users should not rely on POSetu as a substitute for their own statutory records, accounting records, audit documentation, internal control records or other records required for their business.
8. How we use information
We may use information to:
- Create and manage accounts and access.
- Provide POSetu's purchase order, invoice, payment and reporting features.
- Process subscriptions and related billing matters.
- Respond to enquiries, support requests and complaints.
- Maintain security, prevent misuse and troubleshoot technical problems.

9. Sharing of information
We do not sell customer information as a business model. Information may be shared with service providers or infrastructure providers where reasonably necessary to operate POSetu, provide hosting, payment, email, security or other essential services, subject to appropriate safeguards.
Business information entered by one customer may be visible to another authorised customer only where the POSetu workflow and that customer's authorised access permit it. Users are responsible for choosing appropriate information to share through the platform.
10. Security
POSetu uses reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
11. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, or comply with applicable legal requirements.
12. Your responsibilities
Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential, providing accurate account information and ensuring that information they submit to POSetu may lawfully be processed and shared for their intended use.
